Good morning Sunday! It’s time to think about the coming week. Do you struggle to get started on Monday morning, feeling sluggish and just wanting to hit the snooze button? Wouldn’t it be great if you could start your week off right, with a clear head and a positive attitude? Believe it or not, this is totally possible! All you need to do is set yourself up for success on Sunday with a routine that balances fun and some productive planning. Here are our top five Sunday tips for getting yourself ready to have a great week:

Good morning Sunday: Time to Relax

  1. First things first, take some time for yourself. Relax and recharge so that you can start the week feeling refreshed. Sunday is the perfect day for this – sleep in, have a nice cup of coffee, put your feet up, take a long bath, read your favorite book, or do whatever else helps you relax before you get started with your to do list. Make sure you spend time today just doing something you enjoy. You deserve it!
  2. Next, get organized. Take some time to plan out your week and decide what steps you can take today to help accomplish your plans for this week. Write down what you need to get done and when you need to do it. Having everything laid out in front of you will help reduce your stress levels and make it easier to stay on track during the week. For example, will you need to work late on Wednesday? Plan to do some fun activities, like a movie night to help balance things out.
  3. Do some meal prep. This doesn’t have to be anything fancy – just cook a few extra servings of dinner or pack your lunch for the week. Personally, I love crockpot meals. This website has some fabulous, healthy, easy, crockpot recipes that even come with grocery lists. Having healthy food on hand will make it easier to eat well and fuel yourself. This is what self-care looks like. Short on time? You can even get your groceries delivered and get some other things done in the meantime.
  4. Get some physical activity. Go for a walk, a bike ride, or a nice hike. Or try a group fitness class. Like to dance? Try Zumba. You could also call a friend to get some socializing in while being active. Getting in some physical activity is good for both your mental and physical health and will keep you in a positive frame of mind to start off your week right. After your workout, try some stretching or a 5 to 10 minute meditation to give you an extra recharge.
  5. Alright, now treat yourself! Sunday is the perfect day to indulge in your favorite activities. Whether it’s listening to a podcast, cooking your favorite meal, or watching your favorite movie, make sure to do something that makes you happy. This will help you start the week off on a positive note.

Have a Good Sunday – and a Great Week!

So there you have it! Follow these simple tips and you’ll be well on your way to having a great week.
